SLU SGA Brand Identity

Saint Louis University Student Government Association, 2018

Brand + Design + Digital

In 2017, as the Vice President of Communications and Internal Affairs of the Saint Louis University Student Government Association, I created a brand new identity for the organization. Saint Louis University was founded in 1818, and SLU SGA was rebranded as “a voice and resource for every SLU student.” Serving as the representative of the student voice to SLU staff, faculty, and Board of Trustees, the SGA managed over a million dollars of student funds, sat on university committees, faculty search committees, and presented to the Board of Trustees.

The old brand used the University’s official seal as the logo. The new brand needed to be made for digital platforms, easily recognizable, and viewable at many different sizes - both on smartphone screens and on large posters.

Inspired by a text bubble, I created a Logo and Identity that aligns with the Saint Louis University Logo.
